Ph.D. Candidate
Ohio State University

About me:
I am currently a Ph.D. student in the EEOB Department at the Ohio State University working with Laura Kubatko and Bryan Carstens. I am primarily a computational biologist and am interested in studying migration and trait evolution in bats using modeling techniques and comparative phylogenetics. I also work out of the Museum of Biological Diversity at OSU where I have close ties with our Tetrapods collection.
I received my master's and bachelor's degrees in biology at California State University, Fresno in Joshua Reece's lab. My master's research involved studying the ecological impacts of coastal dredging on intertidal macroinvertebrates and avifauna of Morro Bay on the central coast of California.
